Harness Brazaar

There's a new craze flying about and its these little bad boys.. Harness Bras, I purchased mine from Harness Brazaar via depop! There are soo many different styles, and because they are elasticated, 1 size fits all. I wouldn't worry if you had small or large boobs, they seem to look good on pretty much every shape and size! Check out Harness Brazaar on instagram for more of their looks and inspo for what to wear it under. I chose to put mine under my American Apparel leotard with my check shirt and black ripped jeans... But I have seen some looks that are HOT especially for nights out. It was a bargain at £11 with free postage, and I ordered it 1 morning and it had landed on my doorstop the following afternoon. Definitely invest in 1 of these to add a bit of edge to any outfit, and it would be perfect for those summer nights in Ibiza.

Weekends OOTDs

Well, this weekend has been 1 of my most hectic in a while.. Couple of birthdays and it was also payday which made it ever so slightly more exciting. As you can imagine, it was alcohol fueled so I went to work today looking like a zombie. Someone actually even said to me "no offence, but you look quite lethargic today", which is just a posh word for sh*t. Anyway, today's post was just a quick update on my weekends outfits, I'll try and remember where everything is from although some of it has been sat in my wardrobe for a while. Love digging out classics and re-working them!

Outfit number 1 was my Thursday evening attire. I wore this beaut zip up midi skirt in cream, I have seen them on multiple websites in all sorts of colours! If I remember correctly it was around £20. I kept it simple by teaming it with black crop from Boohoo, black strappy heels from Topshop with a black clutch bag.

Outfit number 2 was just my Friday daytime attire. It was rather sunny for a change in Preston but didnt want to risk getting too much skin out because I know how fickle it can be! My striped crop is from River Island (featured on a previous blog), leggings from Topshop, trainers from converse and denim jacket from Primark.

Finally, outfit number 3, probably my favourite of the weekend was this double denim number. I know it can be super risky but I saw my old shirt hanging in my wardrobe and just had to dig it out. The shirt is from Primark, jeans from River Island and heeled sandals from Primark. When daring double denim, make sure the shades of denim contrast, otherwise you will look stupid. In a previous blog I wore my above denim jacket with some black ripped denim jeans for another easy way to wear double denim. I also think to make this outfit evening appropriate, try some ripped denim shorts and a pair of strappy heels.

Khaki.

I think we are all aware of how "in" the colour khaki is. It pretty much matches any other colour and is suitable for both day at night wear.. In my previous blog As Seen On Me, I featured a khaki green jumpsuit from ASOS that I literally cant get enough of.. I have also invested in this sheer khaki shirt, it was actually only £5 from eBay! (But it did take about 3 weeks to get delivered as it was coming from China). I have worn it a few times, just plainish with denim jeans and a pair of converse and I have also worn it for work with a black pant suit. Two pics below of when I have worn it also from a Friday in the pub to a night out with my girls! I find khaki works really well with nude colours, so maybe white denim jeans and a pair of nude heels and nude clutch to complete the outfit. I think its important that everyone gets one of these in their wardrobe, it is a life saver when you are stuck for something to wear!!

More of a formal look.. the khaki shirt tucked into a white bodycon skirt and strappy black heels (which ruined my feet)

For this look I teamed the khaki shirt with denim jeans, black fur gilet and black peep toe heels

Festival Season is coming...

My favorite time of the year is fast approaching and I am SO excited! Festival after festival. I remember my first one, Leeds 2011. One of the best weekends of my entire life. BUT as I was loosing my festival virginity, I wasn't entirely sure what the dress code was, so, I thought I would put this little blog together to give you guys a bit of festival inspo for all weather and all genres. There are also some of my handy festival survival tips which are pretty useful, as I had to learn it the hard way.
(PS please dont be mad but I cant remember where alot of these pieces are from!)

I wore this 1 for a Jurassic 5 gig last year (the cool kids will know!).. You can get great mesh tops from Hot!Mess clothing. Chokers are always a winner with trainers for comfort!

I vaguely resemble a cyclist here.. Fish netted crop top gave the look a bit more "edge" and I chopped up a pair of tights to wear under my shorts.

Checked shirts are a must.. Get something with a longer sleeve so when its a bit colder you are warm but if it gets hot you can tie it round your waist

Decided to put my running top on for this look and here's a little example of what I said above! (All black evrrrrythang)

This leotard is LIFE. But, unfortunatley its not mine, I borrowed it from a friend but she got it from a charity shop, absolute steal! I also adore platform sandals, they can give any look a summery feel

For those colder and wetter days, ensure you invest in a waterproof! I opted for this colourful 80s bomber from ASOS marketplace

Festival tips
1. If you don't have a waterproof then invest in a clear poncho, normally around £5 but you would be amazed at how warm and dry they keep you AND you can still see your outfit
2. Jelly and tomato ketchup butties will keep you going and cure any hangover. Also light to travel with!
3. Take your own toilet roll, the public ones can get filthy and extra loo roll is going so you don't have to make physical contact with the toilet
4. Camel packs. If you want to do it cheaper, then take a camel pack, fill it with alcohol and hide it under a baggy top! 2 litres of wine to keep you going all day
5. And finally, make sure your outfit is on point
