Absenteeism

So this weekend I have been absent from my blog, being the busy little egg that I am.. Or I was just being lazy (Sorry, Not Sorry). So Friday evening, we decided to stay in, crack open a bottle of Blossom Hill Italian Red and watch Children in Need. The wine was fruity, light and an absolute bargain at £5. Started watching Children in Need, and anyone that knows me, knows that I have a heart of stone, I don’t even cry at the Notebook, but I have never been such an emotional wreck in my entire life. Little Molly really got to me, I sobbed my heart out, Jonny was doing his typical “don’t be so soft” which just made me cry even more. I donated £10 that evening and watching it helped me make the decision that I would like to do more for charity and start some volunteer work which I shall be looking into imminently. So went to bed half-baked and woke up Saturday feeling slightly worse for wear and had to do some running around for my nearest and dearest. Afternoon came and we decided to take a mooch around Manchester Markets which were stunning but absolutely rammed. It felt so Christmasy, all the decorations were up, mulled wine being hurled about but we couldn’t enjoy it for too long as the littleun was poorly so we headed back. Little money making tip for the markets: Go round and collect all the mugs/glasses lying around and hand them back into the stalls, you will get £2-£5 per cup!
When we got home, priorities obvs, I was made to watch the England match. Don't get me wrong, I am all for supporting the lads but I would have rather been watching Come Dine with me. Anyway, I picked up on a few important things during the match:
1. Clynes hair was a bit of an eye sore
2. Henderson is Gareth Bales twinny, although lacking some of his skill
3. Harts Goalkeeper outfit totally clashes with the football pitch
I drank some wine to numb the pain and then Saturday evening came and I had a party to attend.. I wore my white ripped skinny jeans, my black snake skin peep toe boots and my black double layered top. It was a good knees up dancing away to Pulp in Kuckoo and managed to get a £8 cocktail for free cus I’m a baller. Electric Blue Tea it was called, but my mum always told me never to drink anything aluminous.. I now know why. Went to another bar called Macs, which I hate as it is full of 12 year olds, so I decided to do a back door boogie, grab some cheesy chips and go home. The other half was still awake playing on the PS4 at this point (around 2.30am) because he was “doing really well”. PFFFFFFT!!
Sunday I had to make a mad dash to ASDA because I remember I was being involved in a bake off at work on Monday in aid of Children in Need. I baked Chocolate Macaroons, which I had never made before, and low and behold I have won the Bake Off and have a certificate to prove it. Definitely the best thing I have ever achieved.
I’ll be posting some fashion blogs this week and also starting to test out new fake tans, so look out for the blogs featuring my opinions on them!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
